NLCI Opens Two New Schools in Sacramento Area

Merryhill Midtown Sacramento and Merryhill School in Roseville, Calif., will officially open in August  

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (May 29, 2013) – For decades, Nobel Learning Communities, Inc., has been committed to providing excellent private education for children in the Sacramento area. Today, the organization is pleased to announce it is continuing that tradition for the future by opening two new schools: Merryhill School Midtown in Sacramento and Merryhill School in Roseville, Calif.

Merryhill School Midtown, located at 26th and V Streets in Sacramento will serve students in Pre-K through 8th grade. The current historic building, originally the Newton Booth School, is undergoing a complete renovation and the first official academic year will start in August. The school will be able to accommodate 400 students and will have 24 classrooms. Features include an art studio, drama studio, computer lab, science lab, library/media center, gymnasium with changing rooms, cafeteria, an enhanced security system and bus service to and from convenient locations. Denise Ondrof, who has 20 years of experience in education as a teacher, administrator and curriculum developer, will serve as Head of School.

Merryhill School in Roseville will be located at 1115 Orlando Avenue and will open in August. The school will serve students in Pre-K through 8th grade and will feature 15 classrooms, a media center, multipurpose room, significant area for playgrounds, and enhanced educational technology including a plan for one-to-one iPads® for middle school students. The school will be convenient for local families with easy freeway access and represents a central location east and west of Roseville, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Lincoln, Loomis and Auburn. Connie Curiel, who has been with Merryhill Schools for 14 years, will lead the new school.

Both Merryhill School Midtown and Merryhill School in Roseville will offer winter, spring and summer camp programs. All camps will also be open to non-Merryhill School students in grades kindergarten through seventh.
